I believe where I stand out is my ability to connect with students individually, put them at ease and in that help them discover their potential to master a very technical and nuanced skill set. I have been shooting bows all my life but began teaching archery at my local church about 15 years ago. I am a USA Archery certified level 3 coach, I owned an archery shop for 4 years coaching my clientel there and now serve as the head coach of the Yale Archery Club Team.

I personally enjoy the interactiion with students and especially enjoy the moment that they realize that they are capaqble of achieving accuracy. Repeatable accuracy is evething in the archery shot. Without it you lose interest very quickly, with it you wil become mesmerized by the flight of the arrow.

What I enjoy the most about my work is people. Meeting them, learning about them, teaching what I know. Watching a student performing a skill with excellence is as rewarding, maybe more rewarding than doing it myself.

Another big shout out to Mike and his team at Square Up Archery and HAIL Archery Products. They produce some of the highest quality archery products on the market today. Working a full time job with a wife and kid, time in the woods is limited. Having high quality accessories and strings on my bow gives me the confidence I need to not only make a good shot, but they give me the ability to execute that shot when it counts. Mikes products speak for themselves. If have you haven’t tried the Square Up, I strongly recommend you do. If you don’t have Lightning Strings, you are missing out. Do yourself a favor and give them a try, you will not be disappointed, I promise! Quality, reliable products from an honest, knowledgeable professional, what more can you ask for.
