Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My classes are for painters of all skill levels! Group sessions are a party! One on one sessions build upon the last, and we can start anywhere and work together to achieve whatever you have your mind set to. Sky's the limit!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been teaching for six years and doing stand-up for four, so I'm an experienced teacher who brings levity and makes the sessions enjoyable! I also have a lot of experience working with beginners and children and place a strong emphasis on positivity and empowerment.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$35 gets you a seat at a group session and all the supplies shipped right to you! One on one lesson pricing is tailored to the student. I'm very open minded and even have sponsorship options for children!
How did you get started teaching?
I was hired at a studio years ago and fell in love with teaching. I started my own woman-owned, independent studio with a strong emphasis on community outreach. I wanted to sell my art to provide help for the most vulnerable members of my community and to focus on that passion, I had to start my own business, which is how Paint the Town RAD was born!
What types of students have you worked with?
I work with all ages and prefer to work with beginners so we can start from scratch and build up a skill set!
