What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Depending on various needs I employ telephones; zoom; screensharing/remote control software; in person ideally. Within state 1/2 day is fine. Out of state full day required; email and texting also
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I charge $250 for each 1/2 day (62.50 per hour); $400 per full day (50.00 per hour)
How did you get started teaching?
Teaching is a passion. I had to learn how to get the results I wanted and showing someone else to do the same. Over many years.
What types of students have you worked with?
Beginners, someone who understands a little, and more advanced photographers.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I drive crosscountry a couple times each year from Connecticut to Los Angeles so I can continue to photographing a number of situations over a long term basis.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Talk to the photographer, there needs to be some chemistry, ideally from the start.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Equipment list; locations; what should be done remotely vs. what to do in person.
