    Frequently asked questions

Lesson 1: Get to know the player by communicating with them and their parents to see if they have a specific purpose for coming. Then stretch and play catch to see what mechanical issues I can see and go from there. My goal is to make it fun for the students while working hard to progress their baseball potential.

I have played at the highest level of my field and I'm still learning more about the game on a daily basis. 13 year professional career.

I started pitching lessons in my offseasons while playing. Also helped coach 12u and 18u travel baseball teams.

I've work with 6 year old kids brand new to the game up to college pitchers. If a teammate asked for help during our season, I would help out the best I could in what I saw.

The teacher can only do so much, the students usually come to the teacher once a week so those other days the student should be working to progress and practicing things learned in the lesson. This will help with results. Find a teacher who cares about what they are doing. For myself, I want to instill confidence in my students.

I don't mind talking about students needs at all as long as it relates to their age and skill level. For example, if a 10 year old asks how to throw a curve ball I won't teach that. I'd tell them the importance of fastball command because that is what's important at that age.
