About
"Art Expression with Mrs.McCord" was created by combining my passion for Art and my love for instructing kids in art. These sessions are designed to help guide young kids find a love of art through the act of creative self expression . By integrating *STEAM into these art session the kids will also gain important skill needed for their academic journey.
*STEAM is the integration of science, technology, engineering, arts and mathimatics
STEM+art=STEAM

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Engage in creativity, guiding them in the activity of the lesson in the comfort of their own home
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
13 years of Girl Scouts as a volunteer and also as an employee of Girl Scouts of Western Washinton where I worked as a Area Manager. I am currently employeed as a pre school teachers aide at a community nursery school.
However I feel the experience as a mother of 6 children has provided me with the skills and Love I have working with kids today. All of my child are grown with families of their own now.
