Elite Sports Academy
About
I have been a college scout/recruit for 8+ years. I've experienced being an athlete at the D1 level. Giving youth and student-athletes a head start on working to get to that next level. A NY State, USA, and Nationally certified coach. I truly enjoy coaching youth aiding in enhancing their skill, knowledge, and love of sports. I've trained youth athletes (male & female) that are currently playing in college and the pros.
Since 2001 we've been bringing out the best in our athletes on and off the field. They become students of the game and love the improvements they make after every practice and/or training session.. Building winning and team leader attitudes.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I work to assure that our coach and student-athlete relationship will be cemented in mutual trust and confidence while we are working on a common goal to make you a successful student-athlete. This includes effective communication, commitment to the process, professional knowledge and integrity.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a former collegiate student-athlete as well as a former certified official. I am a state certified coach in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Texas.
How did you get started teaching?
I got started in coaching/teaching/training through a former collegiate coach. I was a student of the game and was asked to work with up-and-coming student athletes. I love every minute of it.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
When you are looking to hire a teacher/coach/trainer do you want to make sure that he/she be knowledgeable of the game not just as a player, but as a coach. I need to know more than just the rules but details. Your coach should love the sport as much as you if not more. Your coach should be able to communicate in a way that each player can understand and follow his instruction. And you want to coach that is continuously developing their players and working on helping improve and tweak the small details that can help please reach and exceed their potential. And the huge part of it all is that the code should be able to instill discipline and understand different personalities of the players and be able to connect.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Before getting a trainer be sure that you want to put in the work, grind, and commitment to make yourself a better student athlete on and off the court. Don't just talk about it be about it.
