Nothing makes me happier than being involved in the arts and music. I truly find joy when I play the flute or when I touch my pencil to paper and create. Sharing this joy as well as cultivating in others and myself bring me happiness that I cannot explain.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My typical Process for working with a new student is to first gague where they are as far as your strengths as weaknesses. I ask you to not only tell me but also play a piece to help me see where their strengths and weaknesses are. Telling me your goals and motivations to reach out for lessons is important to me so I know what your expectations are.
I then develop a personal curriculum just for you to help you to advance on the path you wish.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Flute and music instruction:
I have played since I was 8 through high school and college . While I pursued my degree.
I have played in jazz band,concert band, marching band, and wind ensemble all during my formal education. I feel most confident teaching beginning and intermediate flute and intermediate advanced students. ( my pricing reflects). I also play picolo which I have been playing since 14, other instruments I play include the piano and violin.
I have had private and formal instruction through out my life.
