I am a professional Photographer and Graphic Designer who has worked in photography creating portrait photography as well as photography for Special Occasions as well as Product Photography. I have worked for many years as a Graphic Designer creating advertising for magazines, book, scent strips, product mock-ups for packaging and logo designs. I have also been an Art Teacher inspiring students with my lessons in Drawing, painting, perspective drawing, poster design, creating cartoon characters and the use of their imaginations to draw inspiration to their work.
I love drawing and photography and teaching others in a enthusiastic manner!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I evaluate their skills and abilities and then take it from there! I have taught kids and adults to draw that believed they had no ability! I have worked with people of all levels and abilities and love teaching art and drawing!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Graduate of Parsons School of Design. May 1980 BFA in Illustration

How did you get started teaching?
I worked in New York City teaching Art To Special Education In Brooklyn, NY then I worked in a junior high schools teaching art for several years. I also taught Art, web design and 3 d animation on a High school level and taught college for several years at SUNY Purchase in New York State.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have taught all levels but I prefer 5 th Grade on up through High School level. I have also taught College at SUNY Purchase years ago ion New York. I was a Graphic Design Teacher teaching Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, In Design and Quark among other programs. I taught web design 3D Animation and Art at a High Chool in Stamford, CT called The Academy if Information Technology. I also taught Graphic Design using the same programs as well as life drawing and perspective drawing at Gibbs College in Norwalk, CT
My favorite is teaching drawing and painting as well as cartoon characters!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
sculpting characters, flying drones for photography.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for enthusiasm about their work and always want to learn. Try to connect your experiences in everything you do!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
How and where do they want to use their skills and abilities. Many of the skills and abilities people learn can be applied to many areas in life!
