Brett Borcherding Tutoring & Training
About
I’m Brett, a Mechanical Engineering graduate from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and a New York State Engineer-in-Training. I currently work in engineering design, where I use AutoCAD, technical drawings, math, and problem-solving in real project work.
I offer tutoring in math, physics, SAT Math, engineering fundamentals, and AutoCAD. My goal is to make difficult technical subjects feel clear, organized, and manageable. I work step by step with students so they understand not only how to solve a problem, but why the method works.
Working with me is practical and focused. We can review homework, prepare for tests, go over difficult concepts, build problem-solving confidence, or work through AutoCAD/drafting skills. I like to keep lessons clear, patient, and direct, with examples that connect the material to real-world engineering and technical applications.
I do an excellent job because I combine strong academic training with real engineering experience. I understand how frustrating math, physics, and technical subjects can feel when they are not explained well, and I focus on helping students build confidence, improve their process, and become more independent problem-solvers.
