Blue Rock Studio

I teach classes in an open studio with an art gallery theme. Current works of art are always on display. I teach drawing in pencils, charcoal, pastels. I also teach watercolors, acrylic and oils and clay. We will study techniques of master artists and some of my own unique techiniques. Ages 5 and up are welcome. Classes are geared for individual experience. Young kids focused on exploratory art and expression. Young teens thru adults studying more technique and art history as well as designing and expression.

I have been teaching art for 3 years, have won several juried art shows. I am member of 2 local art comittees and director of the local Library Gallery.

I enjoy mentoring and seeing my students mature in the arts. Everyone has a differet perspective and I emphasize this in my art classes. We are all unique and bring skills into our art. I help bring the best out of every artist. Practicing art also improves focus, creative thinking skills and relieves stress.
