My purpose as an artist is to share the joy of self expression through art. The creation and reaction to art is personal. As a teacher I strive to teach students how to communicate emotion through art. Emotion can be triggered by endless sources. Media and the world all around us affects our ability to stay pure. Respecting all cultures can be achieved by exploring art from around the globe and from the beginning of time. All art forms make the human experience elevated despite our fast paced modern time.
I am so fortunate to have the opportunity to share my endless passion for art with others. My lifetime goal is to inspire my students and extended friends to be on a path that makes each soul shine.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I teach classic methods of painting, drawing in mixed art media. My purpose is to help student find their voice through the arts. Visual communication is a critical component to success in any career path.
