I have been taking photographs since I can remember and I’m passionate about taking photographs and the computer work that brings them to life. I love to teach these passions and have dedicated much of my time to helping others grow and learn. I currently volunteer as President of Professional Women Photographers in New York City, an organization dedicated to this goal. I also worked as a guidance counselor until I left to work at photography full time. I am patient and love helping people answer their questions and teach them more then they thought they wanted to know.
Although I live in Connecticut, I'm happy to travel to NYC for lessons. I charge $75 an hour and have a special introductory price of $200 for 3 hours.
Fredda is an amazing teacher. She is patient and is able to quickly assess your needs and help you reach your goals. I took lessons in photography which included developing your eye, seeing images, using light, using colors, etc. We also worked on editing the images with Photoshop and Lightroom. She has mastered both of these programs; because of our lessons I feel confident using them to edit my photos. I can recommend her without hesitation.
I have a masters degree in Education-Guidance. I also have been teaching workshops and lessons for many years with Infocusvisions.com and privately.
I enjoy working with students of all ages.
I love traveling. I just got back from a trip that I ran with infocusvisions.com to Cuba. It was wonderful and everyone got lots of great photos.
