Baseball FUNdamentals With Izzy

About

Students will learn the basic fundamentals of fielding, throwing and hitting. While working on fielding, students will work on proper footwork and throwing mechanics.

Hitting will work on the proper grip, work on swing path. We will also work on staying balance throughout the swing.

Bring over 20 years of high school coaching experience. Also, have over 30 years of playing experience. Have coached players that have played college and professional baseball.

I have taken a group to Italy to play baseball and to learn/experience the Italian culture. Have won several championships with different teams and age groups.

Seeing players improve after each and every day. Seeing the young players 6-12, smile when they accomplish a task.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I first want to see what they can and can not do. Try to strengthen their weaknesses to make them a balance player.

Former D1 player. Coaching high school for 20+ years. Played for over 30 years at different levels. Over 10 years of travel baseball coaching.

Saw that players did not have the basic fundamentals to make the game FUN.

What types of students have you worked with?

All age group. The youngest was 9 when he started with me. Now he is getting looks from some high schools. The high school players, I try to get them ready for their high school team and beyond.

You want to hire an instructor that will make you a better player and human being. You want to learn something everyday
