Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
What separates All World Training (AWT) from the rest is a simple philosophy. We do not put the cart before the horse. You have to crawl before you walk. I witness quite frequently trainers teaching advance step-back jump shots without the kids knowing how to do a basic set shot. This is often a marketing ploy to impress parents who are uneducated in the sport of basketball. This is the equivalent to teaching division without first teaching adding and subtracting. Here at AWT we start at “A” and go through “Z”. We also focus on athleticism just as much as skill set. Often time scouts recruit the most athletic kids over the most skilled kids because athleticism is a harder trait to develop. One can have the best shot and ball-handling skills in the world but if one is not athletic enough those skills are irrelevant. That’s why skill set and athleticism is equally a part of our curriculum.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
The only way to really evaluate a trainer is by his products. You can't judge a coach by how nice his facility is or the amount of kids he trains, or the top kids that they trained. Most of the time top kids are already top kids before they walk into the gym. The proof is in the pudding. We here at Allworldtraining constantly take kids that aren't on the national radar and help them earn a scholarship, and most of the time those scholarships are division one. We have more than willing clients that would love to discuss and share their past journeys with you. A simple glimpse at our Instagram page and you can see the before and after.
