Mike Pitts, owner and founder of Lock N' Load Fitness LLC graduated from Shepherd University with a degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in health and wellness and injury care and prevention. He also received his Master of Science degree from California University of Pennsylvania in exercise science and health promotions. His area of study within the field included: kinesiology, anatomy, exercise physiology and motor learning.
Mike has been involved with personal training/ strength and conditioning for the past 16 years. He has worked with a diverse clientele. With his friendly and supportive style, he has helped countless individuals attain their unique goals. His clients have ranged from kids to seniors; from first time exercisers to athletes.
Himself an athlete with a background in football, basketball, baseball, and lacrosse; he understands the specificity needed to help the athlete get the extra edge needed to succeed in their chosen sport. Professional basketball players, student athletes, models, military members, triathletes, and many others have benefited from his individualized services.
His expertise has allowed him to work with individuals who recently completed physical therapy. He recognizes what it takes for the post- rehab client to get back into fitness, or for those who need to start exercising based on their doctor's recommendations.
Mike is well acquainted with the support necessary for individuals who are either new to fitness, or who have limitations of different kinds. He welcomes everyone and guarantees that you will find his programs fun, challenging and effective.
