I am a Physical Education Teacher and Coach. I coach basketball and football for middle school. I also have experience in coaching high school student athletes in basketball and track. It is my desire and purpose to develop the whole student through sports.
Let me train you and make you a student of your sport and life.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Contact the student athlete and get to know them.
Schedule a virtual meeting with student and their parents.
Finally, discuss possible start dates to begin training.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Sports and Recreation and Physical Education. I have coach basketball, football, and track & field.
I also played football in junior college and basketball on the collegiate level.
Sports have always been a go to for me. It has always helped me navigate the problems of life and through sports, I have been able to train and help other students athletes.

No at the moment. It will be decided based on the need of the student athlete.
How did you get started teaching?
I volunteered as a coach at a school and though my experience there working with students and athletes, I realized my desire and passion to teach.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students from 6-17 years of age.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I currently host a Sport and Hip Hop Club at my school. We talk about sports and how it plays a major part in what you become in life.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Get to know the teacher. Ask 1000 questioning. Make sure you are comfortable with working with the teaching and especially make sure that the teacher is qualified to help you succeed at your sport.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
I think students athletes should be fully committed before talking to a teacher.
Students should think though on the process that it will take for them to be successful.
Students should make sure that they can trust their teacher and have discussed it throughly with their parents.
