About
My process focuses on giving the student the tools they need to become a more independent musician, so that the learning continues in practicing and playing outside of the lesson.
I absolutely love the cello and I love sharing that enthusiasm with others! Cellists and musicians of every age and level continue to inspire me and teach me in our lessons.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first lesson always starts with a good mix of playing and talking in order to asses the student's level and goals for the cello. I also make sure to incorporate some quick advice about sound production or about how to practice effectively, so the student can see how future lessons might go and what to expect from me.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Ithaca College - Bachelor of Music 2017
Stony Brook University - Masters of Music 2019
University of Maryland - DMA in progress (2022)
