Additional information.

The first hour is no cost. We will discuss how a car works. Things such as:

a. How the brakes work and how we use them.

b. How the turn signals work and when we use them.

c. How we use the mirrors.

d. How to drive in traffic

e. How to control your emotions when a driver cuts you off or keeps blowimg.his.horn, etc

f. When it is ok to use gunglasses and when it is not ok.

g. What to do when your cell phone rings.

h. How to drive in bad weather.

i. How to judge distances when passing another car and how to safely pass another car.

j. We will talk about what to.do it you.have an accident.

k. Understand road signs

I have taught many young people to drive. I know how much you want to take your first drive. We will get you on the road.as soon as you are ready. 

I was the safety officer for my company when we were.adsigned work in Afghanistan. We were required to learn defensive driving under very stressful conditions. I learned many techniques that apply here as well. Learning to control anger when another.driver cut in front of my vechicle or drove very close behind me was very important. 

We also learned what to in the event an accident occurred. Many people are put into  a dangerous position because they.do not know what to do if they have accident.

We will discuss these topics and more. My staff.all took the course and some were involved in accidents but no one was seriously.hurt.

The first hour is free. I prefer to have two hour long sessions. So on the first lesson using the two hour period the cost would be as follows:

1. First hour free

2. Second hour is $35.00

3. Total cost for 1st lesson will be $35.00

All following two hour sessions will be $70.00 

I am retired and I enjoy meeting and helping people. Teaching driving is enjoyable. It allows me to know that I have given a beginner driver knowledge and experience they need to keep them safe when they start driving by themself.

I have worked with adults and young adults.

I have also worked with drivers that passed their exams and had an accident because they knew just enough to pass the exam. 

I have worked with handicapped drivers and have very much enjoyed helping them become mobile.

1. Look for a teacher that is patient.

2. Look for a eacher that is not willing to go faster than the student is prepared for tegaurdless how impatient.the student may be.

3. Look for a teacher that takes their students to a safe area to teach road lessons on

1. Can and will they be patient?

2. Can and wil they follow ditecctions?

3. Can and will they respect their teacher?
