I teach private piano and flute lessons to all ages. With a DMA (Doctorate of Musical Arts) degree in Music Performance and 9 years of teaching experience I provide my students with one a fine musical education and help them experience music -- whether for the first time or the first time in a while. Students gain valuable musical skills while learning to appreciate music.
I enjoy working with all ages and levels of students.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
New students should let me know which instrument they would like to study (flute or piano), how long they've studied and if they have any prior music studies. I then set up a first lesson with the student during which they will play for me (if applicable) anything they've been practicing or enjoy playing to give me an idea of their level. From there I will provide a basic first lesson and assign possible new materials to be purchased within the first week to begin their course of study.
