I love math and have taught other people to love it like I do. I teach and tell jokes, because math does not have to be hard or boring. I am a tutor at Montgomery College helping out my fellow students.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I talk to the student, to get an understanding of their learning style. I then tailor my lessons to fit their learning style. I gwt to know their hobbies and relate it to math.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a tutor at my college working with Special Ed students, felliw students, and siblings of my fellow students.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $10 per hour. The first hour is free, but every hour after that is $10.
How did you get started teaching?
I love kids and I love math. My father is a professor of political science. It's a fun way to inspire future generations, because we need more mathematicians.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have working with fivr year olds all the way up to 59. I work with hard of hearing and deaf students since I am working on my sign language certification. I even work with students that have learning disabilities. I have ADD and teaching helps me to focus.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
The time I became a certified tutor for young kids. I had to go through a background check and everything. I was so happy because I love to teach math.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for someone that fits your needs. Don't try to change yourself to fit their standards.
