About
I teach drawing, painting, including encaustic (wax) and mixed media collage. Recently I’ve developed a fondness for creating Tiny House (sculptures.) I focus on attention to detail and making the art your own.
I teach at several art centers in the MD/DC area. My art and sample student art on my website-

Much of my art involves looking closely at nature. Teaching the unique medium of encaustic (wax) and sharing its attributes and application has helped me realize its artistic depths, including how it can be a sculptural medium.
Guiding students in LOOKING is how I share my love of art, and how to best connect to your subject, or object you are drawing or painting.
