What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I start with teaching elements and principles of art, then drawing and painting techniques that include blending, capturing light and values.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from Duke Ellington school of the arts 2003
Columbus college of art and design 2007
and I teach art from ages 4 to adults

$200 a lesson
How did you get started teaching?
I taught middle school first for 2 years and I'm currently teaching elementary.
What types of students have you worked with?
Charter school students
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I had two of my students take 1st and second place in the Cherry blossom art competition.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for quality of work and someone who is able to teach you in a way that caters to your learning needs.
