I have been a professional photographer for over twenty years.l presented a lecture series at the Smithsonian Institution for over 20 years called The Masters of Photography. I had the most well known photographers in the world come and show their work.

I am committed to bringing you to a place where the kinds of photographs you want to make is where we will focus. I have a student-centered style of teaching. You will become excellent at knowing how to make your own style of photographs.

I went to photography school in Italy and England. So l have a somewhat international approach to learning photography. We will work together in a comfortable style!

I taught at Brown University, Rhode Island School of Design, Chapman University, and Wittenberg University.As a photographer, l have had a private sitting in the White House, shot photographs on a documentary film in New Guinea about cannibals, l have had my own studio in Washington, DC for over twenty years.

I have been published in The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Times, The Baltimore Sun, The Chicago Tribune and many other outlets.
