About
I am a high-level learning student who can adapt and teach kids with many different learning styles. I lead SAT prep groups in my free time and am ahead in math by 2 grades above me. I love working with children and can make learning fun for them and I and I want to give your child a personal 1 on 1 teaching experience. I have been helping kids in school since 7th grade and now i want to branch out and help kids learn all around me. I can promise my full focus on getting your child where they need to be and not putting them under any stress of some sort, which happens a lot with other teachers. When working with me getting your child to where they want to be and more is my only focus.
Qualifications
-All A's since Middle School (currently a Highschool Sophmore )
-Academic Excellence Award is given to me by my school
-Take 4 AP classes as just starting my high school career
-Certified in CPR (in any case of emergency)
-Worked with teaching kids for all my life
-Studies multiple teaching techniques to understand which one helps specific children

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When it comes to new students I genrallhy go into building a foundation of trust with the child. I never want a child to feel scared to get an answer wrong so I will get to know about thema , what they like to do , what are they passionate about , and so on. Than I'll go into the content with them expelaning the basics and foundation with it first making sure theyunderstand that. Than i'll ask them about how they are taught the subject in school to make sure im in line with the teachers style and begin to explain to them what they might be doing thats holding them back and what new stratagies they need to try in order to figure out their problem.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I tutor fellow classmates in middle school and in highshool so I have speant years developing ways to properly connect to people through education and get them the best results.

16$ an hour is my base pay, It is negotiable because I work to help students more than I work for my wage.
How did you get started teaching?
I got started tutoring because from a young age i've had to teach myself how to solve my own problems and it wasnt easy for me and I didnt want to have other kids go through what i did and continue to struggle.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with students who arent ambitious and the very ambitious students and students from all ages 11-15 and younger and older than that
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I've recently completed a volunterring event to help kids struggling with online school and getting to have a positive impact on these kids lives was something i will always remember as they go through these confusing times.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
To look for tutors who you think will know exactly where your coming from , since I am currently a student i know what the current teaching scene is like and can relate to my students and help them and based on my experience and adpatability.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
- Weather their teacher believes a tutor will be benifical
