Christina C. says, "Ty (Christian) is wonderful with my daughter and has taught her many useful tools she’ll need in order to pursue her dream of voice acting. He has helped her to gain the confidence to reach out and audition for her first small role (which she landed!) and we’re hoping it will lead to many more! I can’t say enough good things about him and I’m so thankful we found him!!" Read more

Charlotte .. says, " I think Ann started around the holiday season, she’s had about one academic semester of once per week classes. She was still 2 years old when she started at Ottley’s Music School. Now she can find middle C, identify A, B or C anywhere on the keyboard, read notations like piano meaning play softly, fortissimo meaning play loudly, and quarter rest. She has been introduced to half and full notes and rests, but doesn’t yet consistently apply them. She can play simple 3-note sequences with either the left or right hand but sometimes prefers to play all notes with either her thumb or index finger rather than following the assigned fingers for each key. It’s really an extraordinary amount of progress for her age. I’ve been surprised" Read more

My goal is to help each student find their best singing voice and the healthiest way to produce it. I have taught opera singers, cabaret singers, music theater singers, and classical recital singers. After many years teaching in High Schools and Colleges, I am now teaching exclusively in my home studio. My students range in age from 13 to 70. I have directed choruses, and taught Voice in high schools and colleges, as well as in my studio for over 30 years. I have served as an officer in NATS (National Assn of Teachers of Singers) for many years to the present. I have peformed in recitals, shows, orchestra concerts, accapella groups and ...

I love the human voice and the beautiful sounds good can make in myriad genres of performance. I have been teaching and singing for 51 years and still perform well! I’ve worked with voices ranging in age from 7 to 87 with remarkable results immediately. I can dramatically improve the sound of the singing voice in the first lesson. I’ve had students say they learned more in the first lesson than they did in the semester at a nearby University. Senate Chaplin Barry Black took speaking and singing lessons from me and re-counted his positive experience in his book From the Hood to the Hill, page 110. I teach from “Bach to Boogie”including oper...

She does an exceptional job finding the right pieces for my skill level and is very encouraging. I feel like I’ve grown so much as a pianist with her support. We have so much fun together during our lessons while staying productive and engaged. We also learn a good amount of music theory which is very helpful. I highly recommend working with Aieshwarya if you’re looking to improve your piano skills. She’s just the best!" Read more

Priscila is an extremely talented and knowledgeable photographer and to add to that a very patient and enthusiastic teacher. She is hands-on with composition, camera adjustments and explains the whys of what she is suggesting. Her classes are very informative but fun at the same time. Definitely time and money well spent.

The Ottley Music School has been instrumental in helping my daughter learn to read music and perform appropriate but challenging pieces. The teachers encourage each child to reach their potential while providing top notch instruction. We are happy with the quality of instruction and performance opportunities our child has received at Ottley Music School.

Coach Nat worked with my daughter patiently, she has a disability and since I'm always nervous with pairing her with different instructors I was surprised how fast they connected. Music is able to calm her and coach Nat, with having no experience working with children with disabilities was able to help my daughter through music with fun activities. We no longer are able to work with Coach Nat since we relocated to New Jersey, but I recommend her highly! She's funny, patient, a great listener, and is amazing with kids.

I am an adult piano learner with a musical background in the voice especially. Aiesh is a kind and friendly teacher. She cares about the success of the student. I like the selection of books and other materials that she uses. For me it helps go over music theory well and solidifies it. Aiesh is good at pointing out when you need to play differently to match what is written in the music. She is very good at encouraging you both when you have done well and when you need to improve. I had a very positive experience!
