I offer high level instruction to players of all ages that is taliored to each individual athlete. I am constantly working on my craft of coaching and in over 20 years as a player and coach have worked with and gained knowledge and coaching techniques from many different coaches and players across multiple levels of the game including professional baseball. I use modern technology and data to help understand how to best instruct and improve my players skills. Being a private coach, I offer flexibility and pricing options that give players from all backgrounds access to high level coaching.
I love helping players improve their game. Baseball has been my passion as a player and as a coach for 20+ years. I strive to provide each athlete with a worthwhile fun experience that helps them get better and have more success in the game.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I usually start with an overall physical assessment of the player. The is helps me understand how the athlete moves and what type of move techniques we would use as well as identify any physical limitations that might hinder the athlete. I also like to discuss with the athlete their thoughts and feelings about their game and performance. From there I try and observe the athlete's technique (hitting, fielding) before making any kind of adjustments. This is also the stage where I will collect data on the athlete in the form of video, bat sensors (Blast Motion) exit velocity readings (how hard the ball is hit in mph) as well as decision making while executing the skill. Once data has been collected and I have had a chance to get a clear picture of the athlete's strengths and weakness, as well as their own goals, (usually the first two lessons) I am able to develop a plan taliored to the individual that will not only address any weaknesses but also that improve on their strengths and help them reach their goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In addition to coaching youth baseball at many levels for the last 10 years, I am a full time time middle school teache who understands how the adolescent brain works and how to best help each individual learner through differention.

I offer hour and half hour sessions at a competitive rate. I also offer lesson packages and am willing work with any athlete that has a desire to get better.
