Photography can be very technical, but also very abstrac. I can balance the science aspect of visual arts, with the subjet and artistic part in my lessons.

I only good in two thins: Take good pictures, and teach how to take beatiful images.

This is my passion. All my experience in 20 years been a photographer, i transmit it to my student, with passion, fun, but in a very seriusly manner.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I always ask to my students what they expect, why yo wanna study photography. Based on that, i aproach and adapt my lesson to the students and its expectation. In second hand, i always ask for some photos. It dosent matter if they came for a cell phone, or for family photos, with that i can know the way the student "see" things.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a degree in architecture, and diploma in education and diploma in Comercial Photography. I have been taken pictures for more than 25 years, and teaching for more than 10.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

In general matter, i charge around 25$ per hour. But it gonna depent in the # of lessons of the objetive of the student.

Don't worry, this is a vocation, a passion, i am affordable.

How did you get started teaching?

I started more than 10 years ago, when some colleages photographer  ask me for build a photography portfolio, i reallize that some of the new photographer, that came for the digital world, didn't have any strong teory about visual arts, so.. i decide to start a series of workshop about photography, but "old School" stile. Since that, i became a full time photography Instructor.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have been working for all kind of student, from 13 year old (how wanna be a photojournalist), to a 78 (yes, 78 years old) lady how want to take good pictures of their grand childs.

I have the ability to teach all kind of estudents and background and expectations.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Any art venue or event.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Look for somebody with a really teaching experience or studies.

Someboy how take education seriusly and teach with passion.

Do not hire someboy how take "good" pictures, or have millios followers in social media.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

I think every student should ask:

Why i wanna take photography lessons?

What i dont like about my pictures?

Why i wanna improve in the way i see things?

That questions are important, because its gonna help a good instructor what aproach need to be taken in the path of teaching.
