I enjoy it because it is my passion. It is like I'm not working. I help my students by adapting the lessons to each individual. Each individual is unique and has different needs.
I have been teaching for more that 25 years in Orlando and Puerto Rico. I hold a Masters in Music Education from FSU, and hold a Florida teaching certificate, and have been awarded teacher of the year in 2007 at OCPS.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A few days ago a parent approached me said that for the first time her daughter had received a C on a math test. And she said that her daughter always received F's. The parent said that her grades had been going up ever since her daughter has been started taking music lessons. The parent said that she was absolutely sure that her grades went up because of her involvment with music lessons. That made my day!!!
