PRIMAL 9 Hitting
About
Hitting is always evolving and new baseball athletes have to adapt to the way pitchers are evolving as well so it's always a work in progress. With attack angles, launch angles and exit velocity playing a big role in hitting, it always comes down to mechanics, hitting plans and mental approach along with reps. My role is to provide the tools and drills necessary to become a confident hitter.
Playing 18 years of baseball since childhood and High School were some of the best years of my life. Hitting was my passions as a player. I know big leaguers that have tried coaching without success and some that have done well. It's all based on the attention to detail and translation to youth and experienced ball players.
Currently I coach 2 travel baseball programs and one that I have been involved with for the past 7 years. Our team had the highest winning percentage in this programs history, all ages included.
Good thing about lessons is knowing that you're not stuck in a contract although, I will say that consistency in lessons is very key so motivated parents and ball players are a trainers dream.
Hearing a ballplayer come back to me and say how they are so confident with their approach at the plate and it's showing with positive results, either through getting on base or making very good contact on the baseball. Most importatly having the player understand that in a game where failure is prominent they can still have fun.
