About

My fee is $35.00 per hour and students athletes must travel to me in Lake Worth. I don't travel to student athletes.

I have over 50 years of basketball experience teaching advanced skills, fundamentals and basketball IQ.

As A former ABA Professional Basketball Coach, I played point guard, shooting guard, and small forward in college. Growing up in Detroit Michigan I had the opportunity to play against Hall of famers such as Magic Johnson, Dennis Rodman and many more former NBA players. Being versatile and having a high IQ is crucial to a players development.

Seeing the improvement with each athlete and the smiles on their faces when they learn something new.

Coach Teague is fantastic! He knows so much about the game of basketball and is a great and patient teacher. He understands the game from a players perspective as well as from a coach’s perspective and he does a wonderful job of sharing that information with my son.
Coach Teague teaches great physical basketball skills but he also teaches the mental and emotional sides of the game. He teaches what will get you pulled out of a game by your coach and why, how referees view things and then he teaches you how to avoid that.
Most of all, you can feel his love for basketball and teaching basketball. He is patient and encouraging but doesn’t accept mediocre effort or results.
He is a class act as well.
I am SO glad my son is training under Coach Teague!

Assessing a players strengths and weaknesses  then develop a plan to achieve the students goal.  I then work on fundamentals and areas of needed improvement that I see.

i have a bachelors degree in sociology as well a degree in liberal arts. I played college basketball for a coach that was taught by John Mclendon who was taught by Dr Naismith who is the the inventor of basketball. I also was an assistant coach for a Professional ABA basketball team which reached the number 2 ranking in the nation during my tenure.

My fees are $ 35.00 per hour and I give private lessons in Lake Worth FL.

I started coaching basketball at recreation centers centers in 1983 while I was going to college.
have worked with kids from Grade school, Middle School, High school as well as College and professional basketball players.
I don’t have a recent event but I enjoy teaching the fundamentals of basketball. It’s very rewarding to see the smiles on there faces when they achieve any kind of success.
Fundamentals are crucial to developing a sound foundation. Basketball is a instinctive reactive game which requires everything you learn must become a natural reaction on the court through hours and hours or practice.
How serious are you about getting better. Do you have the time and desire to put the work in to achieve your goals. Practice without a purpose is a waste of your time and money. Regardless of what the goal is or the next level you are trying to reach, only your determination and passion can get you there.
