About
As a cello and piano teacher, I strive to create an inspiring, creative and supportive learning environment for my students. I believe in the power of music to bring joy to people’s lives, and strive to ensure that my classes are both enjoyable and educational. I have a background in solo performance, playing in orchestras, and chamber music. I just graduated with my bachelor’s degree in music performance from Lynn University and currently pursuing my Master’s degree and University of Michigan. I have experience in teaching both group and private classes, and specialize in the Suzuki Method of teaching.
My classes focus on helping students to develop their playing ability, while also emphasizing the importance of understanding music theory and developing music appreciation. I believe in creating a safe and trusting atmosphere for my students to explore their creativity and develop their skills in a way that is fun and meaningful for them. I also do my best to foster a strong sense of community and collaboration in my classes, and encourage my students to share their ideas.
On a personal level, I strive to create a positive and relaxed atmosphere in my classes. I like to share stories from my own experiences as a musician and strive to make the classes fun and engaging for my students.
