In May of 2016, Ira relocated to southern Florida to take care of his 93 year old mother suffering from dementia. When he got here he brought his enthusiasm for teaching the life-saving technique of CPR and AED use.

Ira is the president of Ira The CPR Guy Inc.

Ira The CPR Guy is a factory authorized distributor of Philips, Heartsine and Physio Cardio defibrillators.

Ira is also an American Heart Association certified CPR instructor.

Ira is very passionate about teaching people to be prepared for a sudden cardiac emergency. Ira feels that education and preparedness are the keys to giving sudden cardiac arrest victims a fighting chance until EMS arrives.

Our staff of professional trainers make learning CPR both easy and fun. If you have never taken a CPR course before, you’ll find our hands-on training to be an effective learning technique. Even if you have CPR training, the insight and practice that our classes provide will be an invaluable reference.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

When a new client contacts me we discuss the level of training for the class. We also discuss the expierence of the students and availibility for all parties concerned.

I'm an American Heart Association trained instructor with 15+ years of experience.

the majority of our classes are $60.00 per person. Special arrangements can be made for groups and or specific specialties. All classes are done in the privacy of our students home, office or neutral location such as a library.

How did you get started teaching?

Back in 2009 I was given an opportunity to sell AEDs. As part of the training instruction we had to take various CPR classes. After that I was hooked. I received my teaching certification and the rest is history.

What types of students have you worked with?

I work with a wide range of students HHAs, CNAs, nurses, all disciplines of therapy. Speech, Pt and OT. Senior rehabs and communities. I most enjoy working with young families expecting additions.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

I enjoy attending the senior fairs. I recently attended a senior fare in Boynton Beach. It was wonderful seeing all the resources available to seniors.
