About this pro

Overall feedback from parents and players is absolutely amazing. Results speak for themselves but they also see my passion to develop their children. Being a father of 5 myself allows me to connect with my students in a very special level

See the kids develop into amazing players but most important, great human beings

  • Charlie Cobb

He brings results at the same time truly caring for the kids. That is rare these days. If you want to see improvement follow his lead with your kids. One of the biggest factors in his favor is that he has kids himself. Most young professional coaches do not have their own kids and therefor “think” they know what works. Bottom line....Coach Javier knows what works

I can’t say enough about coach Javier. He is all about technique, hard work, and results. Coach Javier has had a huge impact on my boys ability to play baseball..

Coach Javier is an amazing coach who really cares. CoachJP has coached my son Kyle in hitting, fielding & catching. JP truly has made my son a better player. Also to have fun playing baseball. Kyle loves his lessons with coach JP. I would highly recommend coach JP.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Would like to meet them and parents prior to first lesson and find out their needs. We can get started right after that

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been around baseball for over 30 years either as a player, coach or trainer

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

I keep things simple and per lesson. Paid as soon as lesson is over via Zelle, or cash. My rates are $60 per session. Each session lasts between 50 minutes to a full hour. Depends what I plan for each session and what we work on. If we go over an hour, I will not increase the price unless discussed

How did you get started teaching?

I have always been involved with baseball since I was forced to retired due to injuries. I kept in touch with a lot of people involved in the game and started one by one to build to where I am right now

What types of students have you worked with?

Anywhere between 9 years old up to 21 years old. All positions except for pitchers. But I would work with a pitcher on a conditioning program

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Every time I watch my students play at a high level and knowing I was part of their success

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Ask for references!!

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Ask about the teachers experiences and success stories
