Greetings! I have been painting for as long as I can remember. It is my passion in life I am certified in art K-12 in the state of Florida, and I teach private lessons, Paint Party’s, and sell my work online, and at art shows. I am also certified in art therapy. I love to help people and be the reason someone smiles today. I am living my life’s purpose by helping people be creative and happy! I teach acrylic painting on all surfaces, watercolor, and drawing. I do not teach oil painting. If you would like to have your friends get together for a paint party or lessons, I can come to your home, clubhouse, or a place of your choosing. I am a professional artist and own my own business. I have been drawing and painting my whole life. Twenty years ago I owned my own wall mural business and stayed continuously booked for 7 years. I am certified in the state of Florida in art grades K-12 and middle school math.
My teaching style is to show, demonstrate, assist students in beginning their projects, follow up through-out the project. I provide feedback individually, but most importantly, I have the students critique each other (if I have multiple students). At the end of the lesson, I summarize what we learned and have a Q & A.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a math degree which has taught me to be very organized and planful.
