About
For over 30 years I have coached and trained players from K through HS. Former players have gone on to play in college and in Europe. I specialize in teaching players how to shoot. If you aren't shooting 40% from 3 and 80% from the FT line I can teach you how. I also have some resources that will help you take your game to the next level that most players don't know about.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When I work with a player I first watch what they can do through a series of different drills. Then I asked them what they want to do on the basketball court. What are their goals or their dreams. After gleaning all this information I come up with a systematic approach for their improvement to research potential.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My degree is in physical education. I have coached team basketball since 1988 as ahead or assistant coach. I've coached rec basketball all the way through high school basketball. I've trained numerous players in 1 on 1 settings.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My pricing depends on the players experience, how many lessons they will commit to and what skills they want to learn. The price range is between $35 and $55 an hour. It depends on the needs of the players. I will adjust my rate based on the hours needed by the player. I work with all types of needs so it is affordable for the parent.
How did you get started teaching?
When I was a high school player and I would shoot at the park all by myself and I always wished I had a coach that could train me individually. After becoming a high school assistant coach I started to train players individually to help them reach their potential. Seeing their exponential growth is very rewarding for me.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with players from 5 to 20 years old. Becuase I have such a wide range of expereinces I can cator the workout to any skill level. It is especailly rewarding for me to work with MS and HS players who want to be great. I have worked with players who have gone on to play NCAA Div. 1, 2, 3 NAIA as well as play in Europe.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A recent event I am fond of would be hearing about the bravery of our soldiers and first responders. It is inspiring to see people give their best to others. I like doing the same to my players on the court.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
My advice would be to go with someone who cares about you as a person, not as a player. I not only train the player, but I help train the person, so they can be a winner in life.
