Judy Fine is an amazing woman. I took lessons from Judy for 3 yrs. And she made me feel comfortable from the moment i first walked into her studio. She has amazing patience. Judy built my confidence, which i had very little of when i met her. Judy is gentle and kind and a great teacher and mentor. I HIGHLY recommend Judy Fine if youre looking for someone with several years experience and a gentle approach to teaching and building your confidence not just for singing but for standing strong in life in general. You will not be disappointed. I can promise you that.

Judy is an outstanding vocal and piano teacher. Unlike other teachers that simply walk you through a text book she takes the time to explain the fundamentals behind everything and makes it really fun! She has great passion and enthusiasm for this and my skill set has drastically improved in the time I have worked with her.

    Frequently asked questions

Each student has different needs depending on age, experience, and goals. A first lesson is often spent getting to know my new singer and her voice to then create a plan going forward.

I have a Master of Music in Composition and completed a certification in modern vocal technique in 2007. It was in 2008, when I opened a performance-based pop music school in Keene, NH, that my love of working with young girls began to take hold. There's little more satisfying then watching a once-shy singer stand in front of an audience and interact and sing her heart out.

The cost of lessons varies based on length and quantity purchased.

I've been teaching since I was a music student in college. It was part of the way I supported myself while playing in bands. In 2007, I decided to make teaching my primary gig, and I've been doing that ever since.

My background is in pop, rock, folk, and other non-classical genres, so I primarily work with students interested in those styles. I also have many musical theater students.

It's important to have a teacher who, in addition to being highly qualified, has a personality that you click with and a compatible teaching philosophy. It's worth taking the time to do reasearch, like examine a teacher's website and ask any questions you may have.
