Judy Fine Vocal Coach
About
I’ve been a vocal and performance coach since 2007, helping singers build not just stronger voices, but greater confidence in themselves and their creativity. I specialize in confidence coaching and artist development, and I especially love working with adults who’ve quietly carried a singing dream for years and are finally ready to give it a real chance. Whether you’re returning to music after decades away or stepping into the spotlight for the first time, my goal is to help you feel more free, expressive, and genuinely excited about your voice.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Each student has different needs depending on age, experience, and goals. An introductory lesson is often spent getting to know you and your voice, and then designing your potential path forward.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master of Music in Composition and completed a certification in modern vocal technique in 2007. It was in 2008, when I opened a performance-based pop music school in Keene, NH that my love of helping singers build genuine confidence took hold. Finding and learning to love your voice is priceless. And not just your literal voice, because that singing confidence leaks into all other areas of life.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Lessons range between $65 and $74 depending on the package (quantity) purchased.
How did you get started teaching?
I've been teaching since I was a music student in college. It was part of the way I supported myself while playing in bands. In 2007, I decided to make teaching my primary gig, and I've been doing that ever since.
What types of students have you worked with?
My background is in pop, rock, folk, and other non-classical genres, so I primarily work with students interested in those styles.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
It's important to have a teacher who, in addition to being highly qualified, has a personality that you click with and a compatible teaching philosophy. It's worth taking the time to do reasearch, like examining a teacher's website and asking any questions you may have.
