About this pro

Private yoga lessons with Gianna are individually crafted too cater to each body. While asana, poses, are an important aspect of the practice, there are so many other layers. Through this process of self purification, you will learn self liberation through creative expression. Some supplementary topics that correlate to this subject include breath work, mediation, chakra balancing, mantra usage and chanting, as well as so much more. If you're looking for something beyond your average private yoga lesson then look no further.

I love watching students open up and truly embrace their natural self expression. Along the journey of their individual healing process, I enjoy showing students how they can liberate themselves through either movement or stillness. Ultimately, this practice of yoga brings us even closer to self purification and shedding all the self imposed limitations.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Each new student receives a complimentary consultation so that we can get down to every detail that they are looking to work with or cultivate throughut this process. Ultimately, each session will adhere to what exactly the student is feeling that day and what they are looking to gain from their personal practice.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a certified 200 hour yoga teacher registered through Yoga Aliance. I am also certified in CPR as well as other homeopathic healing methods.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

My pricing is typically $99 per hour session. I also offer package deals; 5 hour sessions for $450 and 10 for $900.

How did you get started teaching?

I was drawn to teaching as a child but, always thought I wanted to teach high school English. After graduating college, I moved across the country and found my way to yoga. This process greatly helped me with a personal battle with anxiety and depression. Upon returning to Florida, I started managing a yoga studio and then one day it just came to me. From the momet I started teaching, I've felt more complete than I ever have in my whole life. It is truly amazing how aligned you start to feel once you walk the path of your true purpose.

What types of students have you worked with?

I've worked with students of all ages from babies all the way to senior citizens in their 90's. This practice comes full circle and there are plenty of modifications and benefits for every phase of life.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

I am fond of any event that involves community and an even more conscious underlying cause. I recently started working with a local vegan animal sanctuary and it truly warms my heart to see how humanity is stepping up to help our local environments and overall Earth in general. We need each other and the more we come together, the more impact our actions will have on change.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Go with whoever speaks to you/resonates with you. Ultimately, everything is energy and I always encourage students to trust the vibes they receive.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

What are they looking to achieve?

What physical or emotional goals do they have?

Where are they looking to go with their practice?

What is a present issue in their daily life that they are looking to possibly change?
