Yoga With Gianna
About
Private yoga lessons with Gianna are individually crafted too cater to each body. While asana, poses, are an important aspect of the practice, there are so many other layers. Through this process of self purification, you will learn self liberation through creative expression. Some supplementary topics that correlate to this subject include breath work, mediation, chakra balancing, mantra usage and chanting, as well as so much more. If you're looking for something beyond your average private yoga lesson then look no further.
I love watching students open up and truly embrace their natural self expression. Along the journey of their individual healing process, I enjoy showing students how they can liberate themselves through either movement or stillness. Ultimately, this practice of yoga brings us even closer to self purification and shedding all the self imposed limitations.

How did you get started teaching?
I was drawn to teaching as a child but, always thought I wanted to teach high school English. After graduating college, I moved across the country and found my way to yoga. This process greatly helped me with a personal battle with anxiety and depression. Upon returning to Florida, I started managing a yoga studio and then one day it just came to me. From the momet I started teaching, I've felt more complete than I ever have in my whole life. It is truly amazing how aligned you start to feel once you walk the path of your true purpose.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with students of all ages from babies all the way to senior citizens in their 90's. This practice comes full circle and there are plenty of modifications and benefits for every phase of life.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I am fond of any event that involves community and an even more conscious underlying cause. I recently started working with a local vegan animal sanctuary and it truly warms my heart to see how humanity is stepping up to help our local environments and overall Earth in general. We need each other and the more we come together, the more impact our actions will have on change.
