About
We have 2 coaches with big league/professional baseball experience. I (Rey Noriega) personally was drafted by Chicago Cubs in 4th round out of Miami Southwest High School. Attended University of Miami and was drafted in 1989 by New York Yankees. Most recently I served as minor hitting coach for Miami Marlins.
I have been around baseball my entire life and thru my experiences I have developed an ability to effectively communicate and improve the skills of players if all ages. Seeing players succeed makes what I do very enjoyable.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Typical process begins with the players a evaluation. Process is to match the players ability with his skill level. Different players move differently so each individual has been treated as unique athlete to enhance his or her potential.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've competed against some of the best players to step foot on baseball field. Also fortune to play alongside some current Hall of Famer's. As well as playing under some Hall of Fame managers/coaches as well.
How did you get started teaching?
I fell into teaching naturally after starting a baseball Academy once I retired from playing professionally.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students from all levels including some current major leaguers.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students need to fully understand that the instructor needs to have the experience to translate what it is they're teaching. Not just repeating what they have heard.
