Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I discover their expectations for the learning experience.
Second, I learn their personal interests so I can customize the content into activities that they will enjoy and remember.
Third, I map the course objectives to the course duration so that students can learn the optimal amount of content given their learning style and the time they have to absorb the information.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts and have completed Masters-level coursework in Special Education.

$30/hr is my standard rate for clients within Miami-Dade. Special rates apply for out-of-county or special cases (to be discussed).
How did you get started teaching?
My first professional classes were Spanish lessons for a 12 year old girl in 2005 and, later that year, photography one-on-one classes for adults.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have work with children from 4 to 12 years old, teenagers in an Upward Bound program and adults of various age groups and backgrounds.
