I received my MFA in visual arts from FIU. I work primarily in oil paints, but I also use watercolors and acrylics. I'm active in the Miami art scene, and I've participated in shows at MAC Fine Arts, MBUS, and the Frost Museum.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I begin with the basics, including composition, color mixing, and use of the materials. I think that creativity is strongest with a good grounding in technique; once you have mastery of the materials, your creativity can flow.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I charge $60 an hour.
How did you get started teaching?
I began teaching when my children were small. I love sharing my knowledge, I feel it adds to my own practice.

I have worked with students from 18 months to 70 years.
