Marianela Noguera Art Lessons

I start by allowing the student to draw or paint and I evaluate his/her artistic skills and how he/she sees the subject matter. I emphasize on creating awareness of shapes and forms to develop detail artworks while sharpening the art skills through a variety of media. 

I enable the student to develop his or her style while learning the art process.

Note: I teach portfolio classes for students to be ready for college acceptance in the visual art programs.

I have a Bachelors degree in Fine Arts in Painting and Graphic Design from the University of Miami.  I also have a Masters in Science in Art Education from Florida International University.

I have a teaching certificate from the Florida Department of Education.

I have been working for Miami Dade County Public Schools as an art teacher for years. I have taught k-12 and adult education in the visual arts.

I also taught art for Sarasota County Schools for a year.

Classes are $25 per one hour at my location. In SW Miami around 152 Ave and 176 st.

Also, I travel to the student's location for an extra fee, the fee varies depending on the amount of miles I will have to travel.

Committed attendance is expected according to the established schedule between the student and me.

All the classes are one on one. I could teach two or more students at the same time if they know each other.

Classes available time ranges ; Mon, Tue, Wed, Th starting at 4:00 pm or 4:30pm and the last class starting at 6:30pm  Fri classes will start at 4:30pm, 5:00pm or5:30pm only.

SUMMER CLASSES until July 31st are also available in the morning. Starting at 9:00 am . Note: A student could take 1 hour, 1- 1/2 hours, 2 hours class at on time.

I started teaching 43 years ago imparting private lessons and years later I pursued my teaching career in the public school system in Miami Dade County and Sarasota County.

I have worked with 5 years old to seniors. Also, I teach students in the Autism Spectrum on a weekly bases. I have been an art teacher for the public school system for over 23 years.
