We provide individual art classes in a group setting. Morning, afternoon and evenings, Monday through Saturdays. Children (6yr) to adults. Our teachers are graduates of Art Universities.
We teach all aspects of drawing and painting: charcoal, pastels, watercolors, acrylics, and óleo. Our classes are 3 hrs long once a week. Membership is $30/adults and $0 for teenagers and children.
Participants need to wear their face masks and are seated 6 feet from each other. Area of work is cleaned after each class.
Teaching art to beginners all the way up to professionals.
The ambience is very productive to artistic endeavor and students enjoy the familiar setting.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
They come in to class and are given material to draw/paint for evaluation.
Then they're assigned a seat with a tripod for class initiation. After the first class, student must provide their own materials.

How did you get started teaching?
Miami Art Club was created in 1988, as a non-profit institution, with the goal of teaching all interested in art to be able to attend at a modest price.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We provide Art Exhibits/Sales twice a year,
one in Spring and the other in Winter.
Attendees come from all over, even tourists, to see and speak with the artists about their original pieces. Buying at a modest price
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Students coming to Miami Art Club are encouraged to continue practicing at home the information gathered from their teachers in order to improve each session.
Our students arrive from "no artistic experience", "some experience", to "experienced in all aspects of art"
