Born into a family of artists (fine artists, musicians, performers). Have been raised with and inspired by the arts my whole life, and love to share my passion with others!
Graduated from Rhode Island School of Design on a full tuition merit scholarship.
- 20 years as a professional visual artist. Exhibit internationally, artwork is part of public / private collections. Recipient of multiple art grants and fellowships, including Avalanche Foundation Residency Grant in Photography (2024), CINTAS Foundation Fellowship Finalist in Photography (2023) and Visual Arts (2006), and FL State Individual Artist Fellowship (2008). In 2022, I Directed and Curated the IRL exhibit of Obscura "The World Today", a 10K+ NFT Photography Collection featuring 138 international photographers.
- 20 years as a professional SAG-AFTRA union actress since 2003. Performed as Principal Actress in 18 union TV commercials, 5 theater plays, and 4 films.
- 20 years as an art professor. Teach foundation drawing, photography, portrait study, pastels, mixed media. Also teach drama, theater, and improv classes. Currently teaching remote group and private lessons, as well as in person. Experience includes: adjunct drawing teacher at Miami Dade College since 2002, invited photography professor at Penland School of Crafts in NC, director of photography department at a charter art school, invited lecturer at California College of the Arts (CAA), University of Miami's art and art history department, and at FIU's honors program, among others.
I love sharing what I know and inspiring others to see the world a little different. I believe art is connected to the soul and we are all naturally creative beings who need to nourish that part of ourselves.
