Flute Lessons With Alexa Lugones

I've been playing music throughout my life and truly love it with all of my being!

Flute has been a part of my life for about 11 years. I've also received a B.M in Music Education at Florida International University and have extensive teaching experience.

I've had performing experience with several ensembles including the MDC Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra Miami, National Arab Orchestra, FIU Symphony, Miami Flute Ensemble, and MDC Wind Symphony.

While I greatly enjoy performing, I also have a passion for teaching!

I've taught students at different youth music groups such as Musicall, Greater Miami Youth Symphony and the South Florida Youth Symphony. I've also taught students at several Miami-Dade County schools in all grade levels, and have a professional teaching license from the Florida Department of Education.

I continuously adapt my teaching to the individual needs of every student. My objective is to help each student reach their musical goals and witness their personal improvement; all while making a fun and creative environment for music learning!

It's so rewarding to see a student learn what you're teaching them, and actually enjoy it! I love that I can share my passion for music with others and instill that burning passion within them too! Music is truly something incredibly beautiful and I aspire to share as much of my knowledge as I possibly can while providing students with a new form of expression.
