About

Music education should be a fun learning curve that I believe everyone can step in.

My teaching philosophy is based on finding all possible ways to engage students through music and arts. As a musicologist and music producer, I offer my students a broad scope of music, trying to find all connections that they will find inspiring. While teaching piano, I always bring some music theory fundamentals into the play and shed light on the music style, composers, and how we can perform it to make a connection with our listeners. This is why I am trying to introduce students to different interpretations and how to approach various music and performing styles (like the music of romanticism, classicism, modern music, etc.)

Is there a teacher who doesn’t enjoy working with dedicated students? Probably not. However, I always intend to find the best way to engage my students, prove they can be dedicated to music enough, and make teachers happy while expressing themselves artistically through music. My students’ musical growth brings me joy and motivation to teach.

Pedja is a fantastic person. He is also one of those rare teachers who can beautifully adapt to students’ interests regardless of their age and background. Sensitive to a student’s learning pace, he helps students master the music most efficiently and musically possible. Responsible and punctual, I highly recommend him.

    Frequently asked questions

I always try to feel my students' pulse and find the most beneficial approach to support and boost their learning pace. I look for the best method to bring students closer to the music they play.
I earned bachelor's and master's degrees in musicology and a master's degree in Music Production. I have a long experience in teaching piano, music history, music theory and working with a group of students and bands. I've been a professional musician for more than 15 years, playing in different bands, producing and curating music.
I started teaching children and adults while I was a student at the School of Music at Florida International University.
I have been working with students of all music education levels, from those who have no music background to more advanced students. Every student demands a different approach and methodology; thus, I have been applying various piano methods depending on a student's preferences and ability.
Feel grateful and relaxed even though your teacher challenges you! :)
They should always be curious about the new music they want to play. Sometimes, teachers should advise students if their choices and preferences go well along with their skill levels, and help them make the right decision.
