What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure the teacher has at a lot of years experience teaching math. The more, the better. We get better at explaining topics clearly as the years go by!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students should ask their prospective tutor if they are familiar with the material they need help with and if they have experience teaching it. Experience really makes a difference!
