Art Lessons And Portfolio Review

I am a Provider for the Step-Up For Students Scholarships, and a Provider for the Gardiner Scholarship. I am a teacher with a Masters Degree. My students are all individuals with different goals. My lessons are focused, fun and positive. I have taught at local Catholic and Orthodox Schools in South Florida, as well as public schools PreK-12. I am knowledgable in different teaching methods, from Reggio Emelia and, Waldorf Education, to highly engaged step-by-step instruction at Disney affiliated schools. I also provide portfolio review and preparation for students seeking admission to art schools. I offer group classes for children with therapists assisting.

I also provide an EI(Emotional Intelligence) series of classes using popular characters to help students reflect on emotional awareness and social awareness along with character creation in cartooning and storyboarding.

I have taught diverse populations of students and adults, and am versatile and knowledgable in artists tools and materials in both 2D and 3D art.

I truly enjoy seeing children gain confidence with skills and like seeing children learn and grow in their understanding of art. What should parents ask? What thinking skills will my child develop as a result of this experience which they will use in other areas of their life/education?
