Hired Ralph for private photography lessons for me and sometimes my husband when he can attend. Our first lesson with Ralph was great and very informative. He also looked at my camera settings and found a couple of my settings that were wrong for my sports photography. The next day I shot a soccer game and WOW!, the one lesson really made a difference. Will be having several more classes with him. He knows his stuff and explains it well.

First we discuss what they want out of the class. Then we discuss the gear they have, and then we put together an individualized program for each student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been shooting my whole life and have shot for the Top News and Wire agencies in the world. I have covered some of the biggest news and entertainment stories over the past 20 years.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure they are ging to teach what you want and not by a book. Photography is hands on and should never be tught from a book.
