My name is Christian Correa I am currently a professional baseball player looking to give lessons during my offeseason  for hitting and catching. I played three and half years with the Houston Astros organization , also one year with the Colorado Rockies as a catcher. I was on the 35 man roster for the world baseball classic team for colombia. I also have trained with mlb players and have learn alot from them such as Salvador Perez , Christian Vasquez , Rene Rivera ETC. I have been giving lessons for about two to three years now. I want to help my students achieve their swing to the full potential.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

my process is to evaluate their swing or technique catching and see where they are comfortable. I also love to use video i believe its the best thing for someone to feel there swing and understand what they are doing.

yes I usually charge 55$ a hr. Also 45$ for a half and hour whatever is more convenient for the customer.


How did you get started teaching?

I thought it would be nice to share the knowledge i know with the future of baseball so they can get better and what better place then south florida


What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with young kids from the age of 7 -18. I have also helped alot of kids that are high schoolers that are now at the divison one level.


Describe a recent event you are fond of.

The MLB playoffs most exicting time of year to watch baseball


What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

To be open minded you never know what might you learn that can click for you and you can become better one day at a time.


What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

That I don't think I can do this like I said be open minded
