James Higgins Studio

My background includes a BA from Massachusetts Collage of Art, The School of Fine and applied Art at Boston University and Harvard. I've also studied privately under Fredrick Layborne Sprague. I was an art director at Kennedy Studios on Beacon Hill, Boston, Ma. I've also had my own succesful art studio in Boston, Boca Raton and Deerfield Beach, Florida. I am accomplished in drawing, oils, acrylics, watercolors and other mediums with still life, landscape and super graphic murals. In Boston I designed and painted several murals for companies including for the Massachusetts Bell Telliphone Company and The City of Boston.

I am now retired but would be interested in taking on a few private students who would like to learn a traditional approach to fine art.
